Wc3 morphs into Spore

Since i'm here i might as well show you one of my new passions. (this is not an invitation to stalk me on spore)

rubbing it in my face?

So some people have recently been contacting me telling me how great they're doing and how wonderful their projects have become and if i would like to rejoin. So i felt compelled to respond.

1) come back to what?
2) do what when i return?
3) come back to whom?

answer:

1) my maps have been taken over by others (1 by permission, another was hacked)
2) i haven't modded maps in 2 years nor do i have a wish to do so again
3) the community hates me and would rather see me dead rather than to return.

i hope that was clear and concise but i really don't see the point to do so anymore.

If you want to support battleships then you can so do by supporting serraAvenger's Battleships Antartica project, theimmortalone's pro series. TKF's naval battle series, saynotowar's crossfire series, druma and ej's maps or Widowmaker's CSE series. Me? i have no passion left to give back to a community that would just destroy me the moment i did.

UPDATE: it's official wc3 is old meme.

There are but a handful of people in the greater wc3 community left who ever made a real difference and those are too few and far in between. The hive for example, in it's greatness has lost a lot of those kinds of members and this seems to be duplicated elsewhere. The same thing will happen in sc2 as the blizzard communities don't seem to hold the longstanding members that other types of communities do. Regardless of that, life carries on and for those who have aspirations to start your own gaming community i say: don't waste your time. You'll just get hacked or you'll spend 24/7 protecting your assets and get hacked eventually anyways. Spend time with your family and real life friends instead and you'll attain far more riches than the few dollars you could get out of google ads or 15 minutes of fame.
